Fiona graduated from the University of Dundee in 2010 before developing her skills further with a year of oral surgery and community dental training in the Highlands of Scotland. This opportunity gave her invaluable experience in various aspects of patient treatment and care. Since September 2012, she has been practising in the North East, building a strong reputation for her dedication to high-quality dentistry.
Passionate about education and professional development, Fiona spent five years training newly qualified and overseas dentists, helping them refine their skills and confidence in clinical practice. She has also completed a year-long Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry course, allowing her to offer advanced treatments to her patients. She particularly enjoys minimally invasive dentistry and specialises in clear aligner therapy to help patients achieve straighter, more confident smiles.
Fiona has lived in Sedgefield for several years and enjoys a busy life outside work with her husband Phil, their young daughter, and their dog, Jasper. She loves socialising, exploring new restaurants, and trying out different cuisines. Her friendly and approachable nature, both in and out of the dental practice, makes her a valued member of the community.
